So easy and very good. Even though I put the whole can of tomatoes into the blender without draining, oops. (I added more tomato paste and reduced the oil to try to make up for it.)

This will sound crazy to some people, but if you have fish sauce in your pantry don't hesitate to put about a tbsp or so in the sauce. Anchovies are a common ingredient in red sauces and fish sauce only contains salt, water, and anchovies. It adds a wonderful umami kick to any red sauce. If you try it there is no going back.

Hand crush tomato's, don't pulverize the seeds in a processor, releases bitterness.
I like to sauté the red pepper flakes for a few seconds in the Olive oil before I add the remaining. Oregano, yes! basil after I simmer down the sauce, let it cool off for a minute or so, seems to burn otherwise?

This sauce was so good! I don't normally review recipes when I haven't exactly followed them - can't stand to see others give anything less than 5 stars when they alter a recipe - but I didnt have any tomato paste in the house and needed a quick sauce for dipping. I used San Marzano tomatoes, and I did cook the sauce for a few minutes on the stove top since I wasn't using it on a pizza. Planning to make it tonight, and I will follow the recipe to the letter. Either way, the pizza sauce was delicious and everyone loved it! Thanks so much for the recipe.
