To make breakfast more nutrious, I add chia seeds (1 tbs to 1/4 cup oats) and 1 tb of milled flax seed. I also add in some dried fruit: raisins, chopped apricots or figs, and sometimes desicated coconut. Also choped apple or pear. It's not really oatmeal in the end, I suppose, but it keeps me full until lunctime!

I always make my oatmeal with half milk and half water. I’d never tried tart cherries but they are awesome. A delicious and easy topping is the omega mix salad topping- sliced almonds, dried cranberries, walnuts, raisins and pumpkin seeds add crunch and sweetness plus extra nutrition!
