"I recommend using the Zojirushi NS-TSC10 model." YOU may recommend this model, but it's WAY too expensive for me! It also makes too much for one person. I DO, though, have a DASH Mini rice cooker.

Those are the amounts we like to use, Donna, but feel free to add more to taste! You could also toss it with some of our lemon vinaigrette if you'd like to have more dressing.

Sounds good but 1 tbs of oil and 1/2 tbs of lemon juice hardly seems enough to make a dressing for all this farro. Are the amounts listed for the dressing accurate?

If I am cooking pearled farro, do I still use the brown rice setting on the Zojirushi rice cooker? I thought 45 minutes might be too much for pearled. Do you use the measuring cup that comes with the cooker and add the amount of water/broth for the brown rice line?

Good Morning. I have a casserole recipe I have had for years that calls for white rice. I would like to try it with farro. Once I add the rice to the casserole it's in the oven for 45 mins covered. Would I have to cook the farro some before added it in the casserole or would it cook up in the dressing just fine? Thanks...new to cooking with ancient grains. I've tried Quinoa and hoping to try others soon.
