Is the water/flour ratio right on this one? Not by a little, a lot?
Maybe why folks having a salt issue, would love to know

In reply to Anna. Hi Anna, hmm we haven't tested that. It might work here, but I'm not sure. In general I feel confident swapping in things like cookies, cakes, and quick breads, but yeast recipes aren't always as foolproof with gf flour.

Hi,

I absolutely love your recipes, not only because your food comes out fantastic but because my kids love it :):):)
have you guys tried making bao with gluten free flour? I usually swap one to one in other recipes with great results however this one I think might be a bit tricky… any ideas?

I wish I read the reviews before making these. They were salty and tasted off. I have made bao buns before but forgot to bookmark that recipe so I decided to give this one a try. I’m disappointed with the way they tasted 🙁

Usually love your recipes but this one for the bao buns is a bust. Too much salt makes proofing time long and the buns too salty. Had to find another recipe which sucked after investing so much proofing time.
