What are the crispy looking things pictured? They look good, but I can’t make out what they are!

My go to recipe now even as a lifelong baked potato lover. As a garlic lover I add granulated garlic along with the salt

I’ve been using this recipe for years now. The potatoes always come out perfect, the skin crispy and I use kosher salt on them, so the whole thing is edible. I always make extra so we have leftovers to cut up and fry in a little butter for breakfast or dinner.
