This air fryer broccoli is a quick and easy side dish! It has perfect crisp edges and a delicious savory flavor.


  • Large florets from 2 broccoli crowns
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tamari
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Red pepper flakes, optional for topping
  • Sesame seeds, optional for topping


  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, toss the broccoli with the olive oil, tamari, and garlic powder. Use your hands to coat the tops of the florets well, or they’ll burn before the stems are tender.
  • Place the broccoli in the air fryer basket in a single layer with a little space between each floret. Work in batches if necessary.
  • Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and golden brown. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes or sesame seeds, if desired, and serve hot.
