Hi Ellen, oh no! I would probably microwave it in a bowl tightly wrapped in plastic so that the rice steams a bit more. You could add splashes of water, but that might not be necessary with the vegetables in there. Once it cooks, I would season it and put some fresh garnishes on top.

Delicious! Great recipe as is — loved the rice blend the first time. This time I made with cultivated long grain wild rice (instant pot 1 cup rice, 2 cups broth, cook high 30 min, natural release). Love roasted Brussels sprouts, so added a cup or so of the shaved sprouts to the sweet potatoes and shallots for final 15 minutes of roasting. Cut the sweet potatoes up pretty small and left the skin on. Yummy every time!

Thank you Phoebe for your prompt reply to my question.

Also, my son just sent me your Minestrone Soup recipe. He and his girlfriend made it over the weekend and loved it! I'll plan to make it this week - my husband will be very happy!

Hi Nancy, yes! You can assemble this dish up to 3 days ahead. We love this recipe at room temp, but if you prefer it warm, you could cover it and heat it in a 350°F oven for about 20 minutes.

To make this in advance, is it okay to assemble the entire dish?

To reheat on Thanksgiving day, what time and temp do you recommend?

Thank you,
