The best way to cook mushrooms is in a saute with butter and lots of garlic! Then you put it all on a piece of crispy sourdough toast and eat it with a fork (due to melty butter overload). Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

    Mushroom risotto FTW!!

  5. My mother and I make an excellent “mushroom melt” sandwich. Any mushrooms work but baby portabellas are best. Saute them with onions, artichokes and garlic. That mixture tops some toasted artisan bread. Add some tomato, mustard, hummus and sharp cheddar cheese. Bake till the bread is golden and the cheese is bubbly and add more veggies like pickle, avocado, sprouts, lettuce…you name it. It makes quite a Dagwood, but it’s so fabulous! I love mushrooms 🙂
