In reply to Mike. Hi Mike, hmmm I think dried beans would be excellent here, because you can season them while cooking and build up a base of flavor. That said, the canned beans are great too, and with them, this dip comes together in minutes. For this recipe, I might say use canned for convenience.

Would this taste better using dried cannellini beans? Put another way, would it taste so much better that the extra effort is worth it?
