Hi Isabel, garlic powder or lemon zest to taste would definitely work in place of the garlic!

Cottage cheese has never tasted so good. Made it once with 4% fat cottage cheese (yum), now I’m going to try it with 2%.

Easier to make than hummus when you want a high protein, yummy dip. Thank you for the recipe!

(Also, mine needed some good spin time to smooth out vs just a few pulses, but that could be my food processor.)

Love the idea of a whipped dip, we felt the garlic however was overpowering, a bit! (at least for the kids to enjoy it!). I'd leave that out next time, and then maybe add a little powder , or lemon zest to taste....

I'm trying desperately to incorporate more cottage cheese in my life for the protein value. I can't stomach it. I try really hard to eat it but I can't get past the texture and I need a low-fat version for gallbladder reasons. Do you think this whipped cottage cheese would do okay with using the low-fat version of cottage cheese? Thanks so much for your reply and wow I'm Happy I found your website.
