The picture of your sandwich drew me in. I didn’t have all of the stated ingredients, so I had to improvise. Baked my not firm tofu to dry it out and firm it up. Used purchased BBQ sauce. Made coleslaw with mayo, Dijon mustard, cider vinegar, and celery seeds. Didn’t have any pickles so couldn’t add them. I did, however, have an avocado so I put some slices on the sandwich. AND IT WAS SO GOOD!

Thank you for your brilliant recipe. A tofu sandwich. Who would have thought it could be so good?

Very tasty. My husband and I made it last night, and what makes this recipe extra exciting is the different mouth feels. Love the crunchy cabbage with this, and the sour pickle with the sweet smoky bbq! We will make this again.

This sounds awesome! I am a vegetarian and the BBQ on the tofu looks so flavorful. Definitely trying this before we pack up our grill.
