Unfortunately for me it turned out waaaay too sweet 😵‍💫 i added 2/3 of the planned powdered sugar and yet it still was just too much for me. Of course to each their own! But if you prefer less sweet deserts then I’d easily try halving the sugar in the recipe and maybe using some lemon juice in the syrup mix!

Saw a post of a strawberry tiramisu on social media. I found your recipe and made it. It was a big hit with people coming back for seconds. Thought I may have not soaked the lady fingers long enough. Next time I’ll drizzle a bit of the syrup over they layered lady fingers. This is a personal preference. great recipe. I’ll share my photos via IG. Thank you

Made this for friends and it was a big hit. I followed the directions and the only change I made was adding 2 Tbl of Mozart Strawberry Cream Liqueur to the strawberry dipping liquid. My guest commented that it was much tastier than strawberry shortcake.

Hiya,

I couldn’t see a comment or question about it – but is there any reason, for the cooked strawberries, that substituting frozen strawberries wouldn’t work?

I have a bit bag of halved strawberries that I grabbed out of the frozen section..Seems such a waste to cook down my beautiful fresh ones but I don’t want to mess up my fiance’s birthday dessert. (He doesn’t like cake or chocolate so this seemed like a good plan!)
