In reply to Caryl. Sometimes fennel is labeled as “Anise” at my grocery store. That seems to be a common mistake. So, if it looks like a fennel bulb, it most likely is.

Made this for a dinner party last weekend and my friends are STILL talking about it! Subbed mint for parsley and roasted whole almonds that I then chopped, otherwise followed this easy recipe. Winner!!
