Haha, Reservations. I don’t know how the tradition started, but this is the one holiday where we go out to eat. But I can certainly enjoy the cookware for all the others.
Smoked salmon on a bagel with capers and red onion! Simple but delish and reminds me of home. Oh and a squeeze of lemon 🙂

I am having a mother’s day post wedding brunch (my daughter is getting married on May 11th). Someone else will be cooking for me for a change! Petite quiche Lorraine, lox & bagels, petite chicken strudel, Mediteraream orzo & mimosas and bloody mary’s (of course)
I’m excited for the breakfast my 4 kids make me every year. They are 12 and under so it is always a surprise but so special because they get so excited!

I am making a steamed black sesame kuih dessert. It is chewy, not too sweet delightful Vietnamese or Thai dessert. It is a vegan dessert.

I will make a Roasted Vegetable Lasagna made with béchamel sauce, instead of tomato sauce. This is one of her favorites!
