It’s going to be cool on Mother’s Day in New England, so I’m hoping my husband makes the Snowed In menu from your cookbook. The Garlic Pretzel Knots are a huge hit in our house, and the Chocolate Cake with Sweet Potato Frosting is incredible! I haven’t tried the Lasagna Soup yet, so that would be fun to try.
For Mother’s Day my son & I have decided to have a picnic, we are both excited, not sure yet what we will be fixing.

I haven’t gotten the opportunity to mother children, but I do mother two sweet doggos that had a rough past and require a lot of time, patience and love. I assume much like mothering a child, caring for these sentient beings gives me joy and has helped me grow in innumerable ways. For mother’s day, I’d like to honor mothers of all varieties everywhere, as well as the act of mothering, which is borne of love and sacrifice.

My Mother’s Day happened early for me when my two sons, one who lives in Boston, and the other who lives in Israel visited recently. My daughter in law and new granddaughter were also here. That was the best Mom’s Day I could ask for. I would love to make something yummy one of your many amazing recipes in that amazing pan!!
