May 12th is also the day I’m graduating from college. I couldn’t have done it without support from my mom, so it’s an appropriate day to offer her my thanks in some small way. Scallops are her favorite, and I’m thinking about trying one of the new basque cheesecakes for dessert.
Strawberry Baked French Toast!!!!!
frittata with pesto, asparagus, and other spring seasonal produce!
Cauliflower steaks and a spring beet salad!
I’m a single mom and a nurse who works on Mother’s Day this year. My sweet 13 year old daughter, Sydney, is making me some of my favorites. Quiche, roasted asparagus, spring mixed salad and chocolate dipped strawberries. Hope every Mom is blessed this Mother’s Day! ?
I’m not cooking next weekend(taking a well deserved break ?) but my kids will be surprising me with one of the recipes from your amazing book! They can’t go wrong!
For Mother’s Day I’ll be making galettes, some with comte’ cheese and egg in the center and others with fresh berries and cream. These are lovely crepes made with buckwheat flour, paper thin and yummy. I’m hoping to win your kind cookware offer.
She loves any vegetable I roast, particularly beets, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts. Happy Mother’s Day!!
Fregola with octopus ragu and a Sicilian orange fennel salad. For a sweet maybe a lemon almond tort with chipped chocolate and pistachios.
My family loves French Toast Bread Pudding so I will make that for Mother”s Day…the orange zest makes it extra yummy! Unfortunately, I lost my mom 3 years ago. She was the best mom ever and I miss her every day. I will probably make Ambrosia Salad in her honor as it was a favorite and reminds me of home and our family gatherings.
My Grandmother called them Russian Pancakes,( or French crepes). they are kind of a thin milk and egg pancake with assorted berries down the middle and rolled up, dollop with homemade cinnamon whipped cream. Maple bacon and poached eggs go nicely with this breakfast. My grown kids love this. BTY- I’m loving your beautiful cookbook- Just ordered your Everyday book… Thankyou for such beautiful work- Connie
I would love for some authentic PAELLA to be made for me on Mothers Day! I have sacrificed scrimped and saved so that my one and only can have what she needs throughout the year. Would like for her to make a PAELLA for me/us on Mothers Day!
My husband and 8y son are going to make dinner. I’m letting them decide the menu and trying not to take control. Knowing my son, there will be chocolate!

My mothers day for the past two years, and hopefully this year, involves sandwiches on the beach. It is perfect alone time for my little family!
I really wish that I could be pampered on Mother’s Day but since I’m the only one here maybe I’ll pamper myself with lemon crepes with ricotta and blueberries, my favorite brunch. Or I’ll crawl in bed and pull the covers over my head. One or the other. *shrugs*
For Mother’s Day my husband is making me teriyaki scallops and shrimp with a salad and roll. I can’t wait!
I’m making blackberry lavender kombucha as the base for a special cocktail 🙂
For Mother’s day I’m making my mom orange zest madeleines dipped in dark chocolate. Typical eggs, turkey bacon, and hashbrowns for breakfast. And finally, mojitos made with fresh mint I grow in my garden.
I’m hoping for a delicious smoothie paired with a blueberry muffin for mother’s day breakfast in bed!
