I am hosting a “High Tea” for Mother’s Day for my Mom and a few of the older ladies in her neighbourhood. I was inspired by a 3 tiered cake plate that I just discovered at a thrift store. For savoury treats, I am making crustless cucumber, egg salad and lox sandwiches. For sweet treats, I am baking Butter Tarts, Lemon Loaf (poke style with lemon syrup), Brownies, Blueberry Scones and Queen Elizabeth Cake (a date and coconut cake from the 1950’s). I can’t wait! I am going to prepare a doggie bag for each Mom to take home to enjoy as a midnight snack. Wish me luck!
Love and Lemons Roasted Vegetable Lasanga. My all time favorite. Most of the time I do not get to have Mothers Day with my child. Instead, I have all my female friends to dinner and we celebrate Goddess Day!

My mom loves spicy curries and i’m planning to make some paneer butter masala for her on mother’s day. As for me, I’d love some lemon ricotta pancakes – ny absolute favorite, for mother’s day!

Eggs Benedict and Mimosas
Typically I do all the cooking, but because it’s my first mother’s day as a mom (wooo!) I’m hoping my hubby does the cooking for me. This usually means pizza night and I’m not mad about that. Hoping he makes your new artichoke pesto pizza recipe and would love some biodynamic white wine and gluten-free brownies for dessert 🙂
