Made this for some friends and we loved it! I used walnuts instead of pine nuts and nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan, I also doubled the garlic just for my own personal taste but it was delish!

I found this recipe when looking up uses for radish greens. It occurred to me as I was trimming them from radishes I bought today that I could use these greens in the tofu stir fry I'm making tonight.

I'll try your recipes soon.

The pesto recipe is really great. I used 3 cloves of garlic and skipped the lemon juice (lazy) and it still came out delicious. I had a bunch of vibrant radish greens and I didn't want to just freeze them for future broth (again). This recipe has convinced me that the highest best use of fresh radish greens is to make pesto out of them. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

I am growing a few radishes in a pot on my balcony, and planned to use the leaves, too. I noticed that the leaves’ undersides are covered in tiny fine thorns. The are slightly uncomfortable to pull because of this. I don’t think they would make for pleasant eating raw.
I’m hoping cooking will make them less prickly.
Your thoughts/insights?

I bought 2 kinds of radishes at the farmers market this morning. I wondered if there was something I could make with the greens because they were so bright, crisp and beautiful! Thanks for the recipe suggestions!
