Hi Jeanine! If we go the route of using chai tea bags in place of the homemade, do we steep two tea bags in 1.5 cups of water to equal what you have in your recipe?

Hi Sara, great question! Just doing a quick Google, it does seem like there are some gluten-free ladyfinger brands that you could try. Otherwise, you could try using a simple gluten-free yellow cake or white cake. It wouldn't be quite the same, but I think it would still be yummy.

Hi Sue, you could try that! Just so I can help troubleshoot, did you make any changes to the chai mixture for dipping the ladyfingers? When we were testing this recipe, we found that the sugar and coffee in it were important for getting the best flavor and texture in the final dish. I'd also say to make sure you dip the ladyfingers quickly. If they're in the liquid for too long, they can get soggy!

I liked the taste of this recipe, but it was very soggy when I made it. I'm wondering if there is a way I can remove moisture from the pumpkin puree. Maybe cook it for a bit on the stovetop?
