Is it light brown sugar or dark brown sugar doesn’t specify?

Also can you use sugar in the raw turbinado sugar ?

I also only got 15 cookies out of this recipe and was making scoops of between 1.5 – 2 tablespoons each. Whichever the case, should I be baking for a bit longer if my cookies are somehow larger than what it’s supposed to be in the recipe? Although I have to say my cookies look the same as pictured here.

All my coworkers and friends raved about these cookies! I added a little bit of cinnamon to mine and made them into sandwich cookies with premade icing and they were a hit!

This is by far the best soft pumpkin cookie I have made. It is replacing the family and community favorite! So yummy and the cream cheese icing on this site is the best also, just the right consistency and sweetness! So good, everyone is raving!! Thank you!

In reply to Barbara. Hi Barbara, did you use a 2-tablespoon cookie scoop and level it off? It sounds like you might have just made bigger scoops than we did.

I only got 14 cookies with the recipe not close to 25. What did I do wrong?

I’m so glad I ran across this recipe. I was looking for something other than pumpkin pie or pumpkin roll to take to a gathering. I followed the recipe as written, and these turned out amazing. I used an ice cream scoop to put the batter on the baking sheet.
