About Phoebe
As the Love & Lemons editor and recipe developer, I develop and test recipes alongside Jeanine, preparing each dish multiple times to verify clarity, timing, measurements, and flavor balance. I evaluate ingredient substitutions, portion sizes, and cooking methods to ensure reliable, consistent results for cooks of all skill levels.
As editor, I carefully review every recipe to make sure the instructions are clear, approachable, and easy to follow. I think through potential questions a home cook might have and refine the steps so they feel intuitive and practical in a real kitchen. I love working on everything from easy dinners to healthy breakfasts to baking recipes, but I have a soft spot for summer salads. There’s nothing better than a ripe tomato!
In addition to my work on the website, I’ve collaborated on three Love & Lemons cookbooks. I co-authored the New York Times bestseller Love & Lemons: Simple Feel Good Food and worked as a recipe tester and food styling assistant on Love & Lemons Every Day. I also co-authored Love & Lemons: Pop of Flavor, which will be released in October 2026.
