Hi Suzan, I haven't tried this recipe with oat flour, but it might work. You'll need slightly less since it gets more densely packed in a measuring cup. I would use 1.5 cups oat flour in place of the 2 cups oats.

This is a riff on other/similar blender-oat batters you've shared. I do like them. Only caveat would be the "waste" factor: due to the way all blenders are constructed thick batters sit in bottom & around blades, impossible to scrape out. So we waste a lot of that goodness !

I also wonder if people happen to have true oatmeal flour on hand, if this same recipe would work the same way ?

Great recipe! Used a 1/4 cup less oatmeal and 1/4 cup more mild and it was perfect. The perfect balance of sweet and thickness.

The nutrition facts would be great.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you had disappointing results! Just so I can help troubleshoot, did you change anything about the recipe?

Made these pancakes this morning. I could not eat them. The blender should not be used. Mixing by hand would be better (maybe). The batter was too dense and by adding more almond milk made them too runny. Sorry. I will stick to my old recipe.

These were really tasty. I ground the oats in a mini processor, then mixed everything else in by hand. I got 9 pancakes. Wish you gave nutritional info tho.
