Hi Alissa, not in this recipe – almond flour doesn’t really work as a 1:1 substitute.

I absolutely loved this cake! I substituted some of the lemon zest with orange zest for a slightly different citrus note, and it turned out beautifully. I also reduced the sugar by 2 tablespoons to make it a little less sweet, and the texture was still perfect. I would love to know what the best way to store leftovers is—should I keep it at room temperature or in the fridge?

Hi Karen, I haven’t tested it, but I think it would work! I generally get good results with King Arthur’s gluten-free flour blend.

I’m so glad you loved it, Bonnie! I’m not sure how 1 1/2 times would work. I might just double it and bake in two separate pans. Leftovers freeze well if you have any!
