Hi Barbara, the mixture will be too thin in a larger pan, highly recommend an 8×8, it’s a handy size that we use in so many baking recipes.

This recipe is so easy, straightforward and joyful to make. The best part is the amazing, delicious lemon bars you get from it! I made them for us at home but will be making more to share with my neighbors. I loved the commenter who added thyme, I will try that too and was also feeling inspired to add some type of herb or spice, not that they need it! Made these for the first time today! Recipe was incredibly simple and easy to follow. I was initially worried about my crust, it seemed like it wouldn’t be enough! But I went back and reread the foreword and felt much better. I did realize after cooling to room tempt the lemon mixture began to split, which isn’t a big deal to me considering I will be cutting them up. Very happy with this recipe!
