I've owned the Always OVEN for over a year. Basically everything you cook is actually "air fried" because it's a convection oven. I've always had to use the water feature to keep items from drying out. It's very hard to find pans baking vessels that actually fit. I've mentioned it to Always for them to offer a complete baking set that us small enough to fot in here. I purchased an extra tray and basket, but you can't cook everything on a tray or basket. It's annoying to carry a tape measure to shop & purchase all new pans to fit inside. Go with a Breville Pro & you'll be happier in the long run. Sure this is tiny but it's a hassle & doesn't work great enough for the price. You always need to watch it, do not leave unattended , no parchment, adjust time & temp lower - guessing. It's just not worth it.

A word of caution about Caraway ceramic pans. The outer enamel gets chipped easily and stuck on food or sauces are nearly impossible to get off from the outer surface. So the beautiful outer finish didn’t last long. The smaller of the two frying pans totally warped on the inside with stuck on burnt stains. I can not get it off. It is possible that someone let the pain overheat, so be aware that they are a bit delicate. The inner ceramic surface is great for the most part and I am still using them 2 years later, but they are not worth the money to me and I wouldn’t buy them again.

In reply to <a href="https://www.loveandlemons.com/kitchen-gifts/comment-page-1/#comment-614184">Jan G.</a>.

Hi Jan, I've owned and tested nearly every model over the years and they all make vegan cream sauces wonderfully - you can't really go wrong.

The A3500 is the newest and most powerful one, I find everything blends just a little faster and easier. It comes with the 64-ounce container but I also have the smaller 48-ounce container that's useful to blend small/medium batch recipes.
https://www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/shop/accessories/48-ounce-container-with-self-detect.
It's also the only model that fits with the food processor attachment, which is something you might want to consider one day.

The tall blender is great too - I gave mine to my sister and it still works great, over a decade later. The container is more narrow toward the base so that's what people might be referring to when they say it's easier. It's not as powerful as the newer Ascent but still a great blender.

I hope that helps!

I've been wanting a Vitamix ever since I started eating a plant-based diet, but I get so confused on which one to get. I love the low profile of the A3500 that you recommend, but I've read that the older, taller models do a better job. I know it will do a great job with smoothies, but I also want to be able to made vegan cream sauces and nut butters from cashews. Do you think the A3500 will get the job done for a variety of needs? They are a lot of money and I want to get it right.
