Hi, Rachel! Jumping in with my two cents here! Haha! I most often use up my leftover ground almonds in my morning smoothies, but they would also be good to mix in a breakfast cereal bowl (like granola or musli with yogurt or milk) for an extra protein and fiber kick. Can also be used in baked goods like muffins, quick breads (like banana or zucchini bread), cookies or coffee cake. Could even add some to pancake batter for a bit of nutty crunch texture!

Also, other blogs have said you have to use within 2 days, yours is a week. Obviously, I'd prefer a week! :) Just clarifying.

I have a question; looking at many of the almond milk recipes, I have found that the amount of water to add to the 1C almonds in the blender varies from 2 cups to 4 cups! What amount would have similar taste/consistency to the Organic Califia 3 ingredient carton I always buy? It's quite a differential. Thanks! Love your recipes!

Hi Sharon, no, you really need to squeeze it well, I think coffee filters would fall apart. If you plan to make a lot of homemade nut milk, it's an inexpensive handy thing to have. Or you can try our oat milk that doesn't require one: https://www.loveandlemons.com/oat-milk/

Hope that helps!
