					<description><![CDATA[I used a combo of pasilla, mulato and ancho peppers for my spice blend. 
I found some of my dried peppers were still a bit leathery after the quick pan treatment and was concerned my grinder wouldn&#039;t grind. 
I stuck them in the air fryer at 250F for 2-3 mins and they were much easier to grind.
I dont think Ill use store bought again!]]></description>

We have an extremely large garden and usually smoke Pablano (Ancho Chili Powder) and other hot peppers on the smoker for hours, and when nicely dried and shriveled, grind the Ancho’s into powder to use for all sorts of things. Then store the rest, and then put smoked dried pieces into various recipes. Much better than anything store bought.]]></description>
