It turned out great. I want to move away from the packet because it has stuff in it that irritates my joints. So making this homemade, I want to be able to do the same replace 3/4 of what it requires for the recipe of the butter. If I replace it with avocado oil, will I be able to do that, is there anything you think I would need to add to make it stay Creamy?

Thank you for sharing such a good recipe. Hollandaise sauce full of flavor and perfect consistency, I added 1 tablespoon of hot water for the right consistency. Perfect !

The flavor of this sauce is on point and delicious, but I think it got too thin with this much butter. If I had added much less butter, it would have been the perfect thickness. I had to add some arrowroot powder to make sure it wasn’t too liquidy. As it is, probably needs another egg yolk to balance all of that butter.
