Okay they tasted too salty after cooling for only 30min. Tried them again at 12hrs and 24hrs and they tasted less salty and more indulgent every time! So I’ll probably follow the recipe as is and just remember to refrigerate them for atleast 12hrs going forward. Idk what’s the science behind this but it works lol

I make cookies all the time. I decided to choose a new recipe and found this one. As I was making them my husband suggested I get his grandma’s recipe and try that one. He described the cookies to me and when these cookies were done, he was so excited and said they’re just like grandmas!
I used honey instead and halfed it as I always do but SO good!

No, I used exact measurements and actually kept them in the oven for how ling the recipe stated but they already seemed too brown! I’m unsure why as I also used the temperature in the recipe.
