Very good! It was my first time making cabbage steaks, and they were perfect. I subbed fresh garlic for the powder, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. I loved them so much much that I went out and got another cabbage the next day and made them again- unfortunately the second cabbage was larger and had tighter leaves- it took them almost an hour in the oven. So I would say to stick with the medium-sized cabbage noted in the recipe unless you plan for the extra cooking time.

I never go wrong with recipes from this site!!! We made the cabbage steaks tonight and oh. My. LANTA. Delish. I broiled mine with Parmesan mixed with lemon zest for a finishing touch and that pop of fresh lemon juice right before serving? Perfection.
