Amazing sauce! I ended up combining everything in a small pot over low heat then adding the honey last. I added a little a time to taste, and it was great!

Hubby gives this a 10/5. With the additional cayenne, it was too hot for my palette. Easy recipe was very appreciated when I discovered I'd bought just hot sauce and not buffalo sauce to make shredded buffalo chicken sandwiches. I also added 1 tbsp of vinegar for more zing, and 2 tbsp of tapioca starch to thicken it in the crock pot.

Yeah the real easy way would be to buy Franks buffalo sauce but Franks also do a just Cayenne Pepper sauce which is what they are advising in this recipe. Guess this is another alternative that probably tastes different to franks premade buffalo sauce.

Ill give them both a go and rate them both over the weekend.
