Today I used the last of my Maine blueberries to make the compote. (Sold the house…no more fresh blueberries 😢) 2nd time making it. Excellent recipe!!!

Appreciate that this recipe does not have a ton of sugar in it and relies on maple syrup instead. I used the Trader Joe’s Bourbon Vanilla Maple syrup and omitted the vanilla in the recipe. This recipe is easy and it produces a top-notch compote. I will follow another reviewer’s recommendation and freezer in ice cube trays and pop out as needed for yogurt, cottage cheese, etc.

Delicious and easy to make. Simple ingredients that make pancakes even more delicious. Highly recommend. Even my picky 3 year old ate it without hesitation.

Really easy & delicious. I used frozen blueberries. Poured over a baked cheesecake. Yummy!
