I love this recipe. I end up with great taste beans without having to soak overnight. I find myself looking for black bean recipes, because I am horrible at planning far enough in advance to soak beans for what I want to cook. Thank you.

good recipe! Does anyone else comment how ironic it is to be funded with adds for the food stuffs that is slow killing the children of the US? This is a great recipe. I cut the salt to 1 teaspoon and that was enough salt flavor for me. I will probably cut the salt to 1/2 teaspoon next time. The beans were tender and tasty. I was skeptical about no soaking and adding salt while cooking, but the beans were delicious. I will use this recipe again.
