Hi Jacqueline, I’m so sorry you had disappointing results! I just wanted to check based on your comment – did you use the full stick of butter? It’s definitely important for giving the biscuits the right tender texture.

These didn’t raise but to about 1 inch tough it was brand new baking powder .I’ve never ever had trouble with biscuit till now but they hard not soft airy this is the worse half stick of shredded butter ….make a small batch till you see what you have ..my baking powder can says it’s ok opened just for this wow….

They’re are incredible! Super easy to make, golden, and go amazing with Apple Butter (used love and lemon’s recipe)!
