A couple of spoonsful of peanut butter (homemade is best, of course) really does raise this to a whole ‘nother level of deliciousness. It holds a special place in my recipe stash because the first time I made it we were all outside watching an impressive meteor shower. “Ooooh…look at that! Pass the ice cream, please.”
