Can I cut them in half before baking so they get more carmelized?

In reply to Kelly. Hi Kelly, it will depend on your oven. We use roast/bake interchangeably here because many ovens just have a temperature setting, not different options for roast or bake. If one of those options on your oven is a convection setting (a fan runs during it), I would do the other at 425°F.

The post is a little confusing and that it says baked sweet potatoes but then says roasted in the oven. To be clear, the setting is peak at 425 degrees not roast?
