Try using a small mason jar with a vacuum sealed lid in the fridge. Pulling the air out will help with that problem. They cost around $20 and will preserve everything you ever open and can store in a mason jar in fridge or pantry. I use mine at least once a day!

Hi Indrani, if you store it in an airtight container in the fridge, the top will turn brown, but it should still be green underneath. You could probably keep it on hand for 1-2 days.

Made this again tonight and doubled the batch because it’s so good! I plan to use it on a variety of foods this week. This sauce lasts without the avocado turning brown, which is a bonus.

This was a great, lite sauce. Perfect for my portobello tacos. I didn’t have mayonnaise, so I used lite sour cream. The cilantro was a nice touch to the sauce.

Made it tonight aiming for more meatless Monday dinners. Used flour tortillas because that’s what we had. The sauce was outstanding–almost used packaged guacamole but glad I didn’t. Made a tomato, shallot, lime compote that went well with it. Unfortunately, no leftovers. Highly recommend.
