Where does the rest of the salsa go? 1/2 cup m8xed in with beans, but no mention of final 1/4 cup?

Made this for a gathering yesterday! Turned out very tasty (I did add black olives) and I used the exact same Pyrex dish as you I think. The bean layer was higher than I saw in your pics (used one can of refried) but overall still good. I used one jalapeño diced with avocado as suggested and it had a kick with the seeds!
