5 Favorite Fall Recipes

5 of my fall favorites! Click inside for a crostini, sweet potato alfredo, loaded sweet potato, chili, and an apple crisp!

Pumpkins seem to get all the glory this time of year, but in my opinion, the humble sweet potato is the real star of fall cooking. As I put this list of favorite recipes together, I unintentionally chose (nearly) all sweet potato recipes. What can I say? They’re healthy, versatile, and are also (conveniently) easier to cut than butternut squashes, pumpkins, and other gourd varieties…

  1. I think those sweet potatoes and that apple crisp would make the perfect pair for date night. Lovely links 🙂

  2. Love the vegan sweet potato Alfredo. So creative!! Sweet potatoes are a staple
At my house all year (which is why I guess I don’t think of them as “fall” right away) but I agree they need some love too! Thanks for sharing all these look amazing.

I consume sooooo much chili, squash, and soups/stews during this time of year! Those loaded baked potatoes look delish.

  4. The alfredo looks amazing! Will definitely be making this with my new blender!

Love these sweet potato recipes, especially the crostini!! If the food tastes anywhere as awesome as the pictures look, I’m sure everything will be magical!

I’m definitely more into sweet potatoes than pumpkin. Though I do love butternut too…
Must make that sweet potato tahini spread you used on those charming crostini.

  7. I almost forget about sweet potatoes every year because of the pumpkin domination – thanks for reminding me of te humble orange spud with those beautiful recipes!

Those sweet potato and tahini crostini sound amazing! I agree, I eat way more sweet potato in the fall than I do pumpkin 🙂

  9. Oh, I could not agree more with you about sweet potato being the star of fall. I have it in some recipe or another probably weekly in the cold months. And I have made your sweet potato alfredo and the skillet apple crisp and can attest to how amazing they both are!
