This recipe tastes amazing, and we make this regularly at our house! I really appreciate the detailed instructions about waiting 10 minutes if the mixture looks dry, because I was tempted to add another egg. I used crushed cornflakes because I was running low on panko crumbs and that worked well. The pancake fell apart slightly when cooking but overall held its shape. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and expertise!

Made this but added a splash of fish sauce, given what one commenter said about Worcestershire sauce. Used normal, non-brand mayo. Cheapest cabbage I could buy. Plain flour (amount a lot less than recommended breadcrumbs) instead of breadcrumbs.

Delicious!

Wife thought we'd end up getting takeaway, but we're both satisfied. Highly recommend, thank you for the recipe.

Forgot to mention - I skipped the sauce and topped it with sweet & sour shrimp, avocado, and spicy mayo. The sauce on the shrimp is 2 parts honey, 1/3 part soy sauce, 1/3 part rice vinegar, 1/3 part gochujang - then I add in Soy Vey teriyaki sauce until it's just right. Add in sesame seeds.
